Our Beginning
We began to visualize a PLANNED NEIGHBORHOOD, WELCOMING to people with all abilities, especially the ELDERLY WITH THEIR COMPANION ANIMALS -a place designed with the best of research and experience for HEALTH-GIVING TOTAL ENVIRONMENT- -landscape, gardens, housing, pets, caring residents, opportunities to actively contribute, and even graduated health facilities. For added peace of mind, lifetime havens for pets who outlive their humans would be nearby.
Vision Statement
We envision a supportive, health enhancing retirement community where people can benefit and draw strength from natural landscapes, therapeutic gardens, beloved companion animals, and human support through volunteerism, sharing vital skills, knowledge and experience, thereby celebrating one’s unique self-worth. We will build A LIFE PLAN COMMUNITY called TREASURED LIVES where the design, staff, and residents treasure all lives- - human, animal, gardens, nature, in a vital, interacting, caring community.
